E-Tech Notes #12: Google Slides

Need a presentation, but you don’t have a Microsoft Powerpoint application?

Do not worry!

As long as you have a Google Account, you can make a presentation through an application called “Google Slides”.

This app is just one of the Google-made applications that instantly save your files into your “Google Drive”.

It is available for both Android and iOS, and you can also make and view your presentations through a PC or Laptop, just type in the link “http://www.google.com/slides“.

And in making your presentations more pleasing to view, just follow this 10 Slide Tips (techFactors Inc.’s E-Tech Book, pp. 82-84):

  • Keep it simple.
  • Limit bullet points and text.
  • Limit transitions and builds/animations.
  • Use high-quality graphics.
  • Have a visual theme, but avoid using templates.
  • Use appropriate charts.
  • Use colors well.
  • Choose your fonts well.
  • Use video or audio.
  • Spend time in the slide sorter.

Just follow those tips, and guaranteed that your presentation will be a success, and gave information without making your audience bored.
